Rett Syndrome Awareness Day
Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that primarily affects girls, occurring in approximately one out of every 10,000 to 15,000 female births. Holding near and dear to our hearts here at Café Arabica, Rett Syndrome awareness month is an extremely important time of year in which we aim to spread awareness for the life-threatening illness that effects young girls all across the globe. Last year the day was a monumental success with donations, prizes and raffles for all to participate. This year we aim to create an even bigger event and raise more awareness for the rare condition. Come on down, wear the best purple clothes you got and show your support! (Note all donations will be donated to Rett Syndrome Australia Foundation).
